Virginia Stock Seeds
Info: Virginia stock is a fast flowering, about 30 cm tall annual with many small flowers in the colours pink, purple and white, which exude a strong sweet scent. Due to its fast growth and flowering it is suitable for sowing in between, e.g. on flower bulb beds, where it forms a nice, fragrant carpet of flowers. As the flowers only last about 6 weeks, it is advisable to sow them again or cut them back for a second flower.
Sowing & care: Sow outdoors from March to June. Cover seeds only lightly with soil. Virginia stock also thrives well in cooler temperatures and rough locations. The soil should be moderately nutritious and well-drained.
