Melon Seeds

Melons belong to the pumpkin family and are therefore very fond of warmth. Like these, they form tendrils several metres long and take up a lot of space. At first they are grown indoors, e.g. on the windowsill. Only if the temperatures are permanently above 10°C, they are planted outside. Melons need a very nutrient-rich, humic, deep garden soil that can store water well and a sunny, protected place. Plentiful watering is very important!
