Green Manure Seeds

Typically, a green manure is grown for a specific period, and then ploughed under and incorporated into the soil. Green manures usually perform multiple functions, that include soil improvement and soil protection.

The following species are mainly used for green manure: mustard, rape, lupins, vetches, red clover and phacelia. Most of these plants are particularly useful because they are also a bee pasture.
