Cockscomb (Celosia) Seeds
Info: The cockscomb with its colourful plumed flowers brings bright and dazzling colours into the bed and onto the balcony and, if you are lucky, over a long period from June to October. Especially if you cut off the withered flowers, you will prolong the flowering time.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow from March in pre-culture or from May outdoors approx. 0.5 cm deep in moist growing soil. Be careful when pricking and repotting as the cockscomb has very sensitive roots. The cockscomb likes a sheltered, sunny place, possibly without full midday sun. For this it needs a fresh, humus and slightly acid soil.
