Info: Desiree is a stringless bean with long, dark green and delicate pods. The individual beans are up to 30cm long and have a very tasty flavor. The variety has excellent resistance to bean mosaic virus. Works well as a bean vegetable such as green beans or as a bean salad.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate.
