Info: The runner bean Hunter is an early, high yielding and robust strain. It makes delicious, stringless, light green beans. The individual pods are up to 25cm long and especially tender. Ideal in soups and stews. But even a delicious bean vegetable can be prepared with this classic variety.Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
