Mesembryanthemum Lunette Seeds
Info: Mesembryanthemum Lunette is an easy-to-grow bedding favourite, producing masses of clear bright yellow daisy-like flowers with a bright red centre. The plants come from South Africa and have succulent (fleshy) leaves, which means they are well adapted to drought.
Sowing & care: Sow from the end of March in pre-culture onto the surface of a free-draining, open structured, fine sowing compost. Cover the trays with clear or milky polythene to maintain humidity, until the first seedlings are visible. Keep the germinating seedlings moist at all times. After all danger of frost has passed plant out. The adult plants also thrive in drier locations on full sun and poorer soils.
