Beetroot Moneta Seeds
Info: Moneta is an easy-care, bolt-resistant and high-yielding beetroot variety. It forms uniformly shaped, red beets. Due to its mild, slightly sweet taste, it is ideally suited for raw consumption. Their high content of calcium, iron and beta-carotene makes them a very healthy vegetable in the kitchen.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 2-3cm. A row spacing of 30 x 10cm and a planting distance of 10cm required. Beetroot is a very undemanding vegetable and makes little demands on the ground. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, slightly permeable soil is optimal. The soil must have a constant moisture during the entire growth phase.
