Rocket Dragons Tongue Seeds
Info: Rocket `Dragons Tongue` is a British bred rocket with red-purple veined leaves with a peppery taste. Ideal used as a `cut and come again` variety as slow to bolt allowing harvesting over a long period. This variety grows perennial and is very robust.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow outdoors successively between March to May or in September. Seed depth 6 mm with 3 cm apart in short rows about 20 - 30 cm apart. A rich soil is excellent for rocket, but the crop will also do well in average or limy garden soil. Fertilize the soil with compost or horn meal before sowing. Watering is essential, the plants need almost constantly moist ground as dry soil will cause the plants to put their energy into producing flowers.
