Radish Helios Gold Yellow Seeds
Info: A true rarity! This old Czech radish variety is named after the Greek god of the sun. This special year-round radish forms tender tubers with ocher-yellow skin. The juicy flesh is white and has a slightly sweet taste. Ideal as a salad or delicious raw food.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Seeds should be sown in 1cm. For optimal and healthy growth, the planting distance should be 4cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, well-drained soil is optimal. The soil should be loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. Because radishes are flat-rooters, they pull your nutrients from the top soil layer. Care must be taken to ensure even moisture.
