Radish Winter Watermelon Seeds
Info: A real rarity for your own vegetable garden. The strikingly colored radish Winter Watermelon reminds, as the name suggests, visually of a watermelon. The ballball-sized, round-shaped fruits have a white skin with magenta pulp. The shell has a typical radish flavor, whereas the meat gives a particularly mild, fine-nutty flavor. The perfect eye-catcher for every salad!
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can be done from March directly into the field. Seeds should be sown in 1cm. For optimal and healthy growth, the planting distance should be 4cm. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, well-drained soil is optimal. The soil should be loosened and enriched with garden compost and horn meal. Because radishes are flat-rooters, they pull your nutrients from the top soil layer. Care must be taken to ensure even moisture.
