Sweetcorn Mini Pop Seeds
Info: Sweetcorn `Mini Pop` is a special variety for the production of sweet and tender mini cobs harvested. Harvest at immature stage before pollination (10 cm cobs length) or leave to mature for popcorn production. They are ideal for stir-fried vegetables, as a splash of colour in the salad or for making Mixed Pickles.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow from May on outdoors. Use a dibber to make 2.5cm holes and sow two or three seeds every 30cm with 45 cm between rows. Sweetcorn grows best if planted in large blocks. It likes free-draining, moisture retentive and nutrient-rich soil. The plants are shallow rooted: protection from winds and water loss in the soil is very important.
