Beetroot Forono Seeds
Info: The traditional variety Forono is a firm and juicy beetroot. The roller-shaped beets are brightly colored and without rings. The extremely storable variety can be processed easily and can be boiled, canned or used as a salad.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can be done outdoors from April. Sowing depth should be about 2-3cm. A row spacing of 30 x 10cm and a planting distance of 10cm required. Beetroot is a very undemanding vegetable and makes little demands on the ground. A humus rich, nutrient-rich, slightly permeable soil is optimal. The soil must have a constant moisture during the entire growth phase.
