Radish Hamburg Seeds
Info: Garden Radish `Hamburg` is an elongated, white variety with a mild-spicy taste. Radish is a popular vegetable that finds many uses in the kitchen: as a salad, raw food, garnish and as a hearty snack with beer, sausage and cheese.
Sowing & Cultivation: Radishes are fairly undemanding and easy to grow. The sowing takes place from February under glass, or from April directly into the field with a row distance of 20 cm and in the row 6 - 8 cm apart. Sowing depth: 0,5 - 1 cm. Radish needs a well-drained, humus-rich soil and a sunny location with partial shade in mid-summer. It does not need much fertilizer. Note: Once the radish blooms, its turnip is no longer edible.
