Onion Globo Seeds
Info: This sweet, medium-early and large vegetable onion is a rarity from Hungary. In their classic, white-shell onion form, the individual bulbs become about 300 grams. The delicate and mild onion is excellent for raw food or salads.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can take place from March to April. The seeds are covered with soil in a plant depth of 2 cm, well pressed and kept moist. After germination the seedlings can be separated. The planting distance should be 25cm. Sow on a loose, strong soil which is not pre-fertilized. The harvest can take place from September, as soon as the foliage has fully departed.
