Spring Onion Purple Lilia Seeds
Info: Spring Onion Purple Lilia is an Italian variety with a shiny, intense red inner core and dark green leaves. Its colour and its excellent intense peppery flavour gives a stunning addition of colour and pungency to salads. Best grown as a salad onion and picked young or can also be grown as a maincrop to harvest the crimson purple bulbs.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow directly outdoors in April after the kast frost has occurred. Sowing depth approx. 0,5 cm. Spring onions prefer full sun to partial shade and well drained soil. Keep soil moist and fertilize as needed. Harvest young plants in 60 days and if required leave the remainder to mature.
