Onion Red Amposta Seeds
Info: Red Amposte is a traditional Italian onion variety. It is best known for its exceptional sweetness. Fits perfectly to soup stews or raw on meat.
Sowing & cultivation: Sowing can take place from March to April. The seeds are covered with soil in a plant depth of 0,5 cm, well pressed and kept moist. After germination the seedlings can be separated. The planting distance should be 10-25cm. Sow on a loose, strong soil which is not pre-fertilized. The harvest can take place from September, as soon as the foliage has fully departed.
