Info: Because of its reliability and high yields, the broad bean Bunyard`s Exhibition has been popular with hobby gardeners worldwide for more than 100 years. This classic strain makes long pods that contain up to eight beans. They are characterized by an excellent aroma. Freezing or preserving is also easily possible with this variety.
Sowing & cultivation: Broad beans are best suited to a cool climate, so sowing can start from end of March to May outdoors. Before sowing, soak the seeds in water for one day. Sow in rows 50 cm apart 4 - 6 cm deep, 20 cm apart in the row. Broas beans need a good, nutrient-rich soil in a sunny location.
