Heinz 1350 Tomato Seeds
Info: The Heinz 1350 tomato was developed by the company Heinz specifically for the production of tomato sauces and ketchup. The fruits are burst-resistant and the plants are resistant against common tomato diseases. The fruits are red, flat-round, medium-sized, very spicy and flavourful and slightly sweet. They reach a weight of up to 300 g, and, in addition to boiling down, are also suitable for fresh consumption, salads, sandwiches and bruschetta.
Care: You can grow the Heinz 1350 tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.

Die Lieferung war flott, die Keimrate gut, die Pflanzen wachsen kräftig und die ersten Tomaten sind wirklich lecker. Prima Sorte. Mal sehen ob es genug Tomaten für ein paar Flaschen Ketchup werden... :-)
