NuMex Joe E.Parker Chili Seeds
Info: This mild new breeding from Mexico has a fantastic flavour and is very versatile in the kitchen. In Mexico and the USA, this variety is very popular and widely cultivated. The plants grow bushy and are high yielding. The approx. 4 x 18 cm large peppers ripen from green to a full red, and have very thick fruit walls. In Mexico, the peppers are mostly eaten green, and in the USA they are finely chopped as an accompaniment to many dishes. Due to their mild level of spiciness they are suitable for fresh consumption, for stuffing, frying, grilling and cooking.
Care: The germination temperature is between 20 und 28°C (7 - 20 day germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil, and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more. Put the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost. If you plant them outdoors, the plants should have a distance between them of approx. 30 cm.
